Our team has been working for more than 6 months to set up the best conference for the data science community, including bringing together many of the best thinkers and speakers in the data science world. 

 

The safety of our attendees and speakers is always our number-one priority, however, and with the public health situation due to COVID-19 getting worse, we have decided that it is necessary to reschedule SDSC20. The event will now take place August 12-14 at the same venue (Cobb Galleria Center) and with the same great program.

 

This decision wasn’t easy since we've been working so hard planning the conference for April, but with this unique situation we are putting the health of our community first, and we hope you understand how tough, but necessary, this decision was. Our promise is to host our very best conference yet in August and to give you and all our participants an amazing experience, as usual. 

 

If you have already booked travel, please reach out as soon as possible to your airline and the hotel to cancel your current reservations and rebook. Virtually all domestic airlines are currently waiving rebooking fees.

 

We also understand that the new date may create a scheduling conflict for a small number of attendees. If you are not able to attend in August, please let us know by April 16th and we will issue you a full refund. 

 

Otherwise, if you still plan to attend SDSC (now in August), no further action is needed on your part. We do expect the conference to sell out, as in previous years, but your spot is already confirmed for the conference.
